Our approach to medical animation turns routine lobby screens into opportunities for education, reassurance, and subtle brand building. This piece, produced for a network of pediatric dentists, shows how 2D animation can do more than just entertain… it can inform, guide, and leave a lasting impression.

During the height of the pandemic, Benevis, a national dental support organization representing multiple pediatric practices sought an effective way to keep families informed while they waited for appointments. They partnered with Lunch + Recess to create a medical waiting room video that was informative, approachable, and designed with both kids and parents in mind.

We produced a 2D animated explainer that played across their network of pediatric dental offices. The goal? Deliver essential safety messaging in a clear and memorable format. A warm, conversational voiceover guided viewers through topics like hand hygiene, social distancing, and mask-wearing—all enhanced with light, engaging animation tailored for a young audience.

Though originally built around COVID-19, this format is ideal for any time-sensitive or broad message you want to share with a captive audience. Whether you’re launching a new service, educating patients about procedures, or promoting wellness tips, animated content like this offers a more dynamic and effective alternative to printed materials or passive signage.
