Our core team leads every project from start to finish. When a production calls for additional crew or specialized expertise, we bring in trusted directors, cinematographers, producers, editors, animators, designers, and sound professionals.
We work with brands, agencies, institutions, and public organizations to create commercials, documentaries, brand films, recruiting campaigns, animation, and ongoing content.

Ryan directs projects at Lunch + Recess, shaping the creative approach and leading the team through production. Years of experience have given him a reliable sense of what a project needs, what it does not, and how to keep the work moving when a plan meets reality.
Away from set, Ryan surfs, skates, golfs, rides bikes, fixes things, farms, and remains extremely willing to tell you about his mower. Just don’t ask to ride it.
Perk produces, edits, and animates, moving comfortably between production logistics and the detailed work of bringing a project together in post. She has a sharp eye for timing, a steady hand on complicated projects, and an impressive reserve of highly specific 1990s anime knowledge.
Away from work, she skateboards, listens to bleep-bloop music, and defeats everyone at video games. Zelda is technically single-player, but she is probably still winning.
Chris produces and edits across Lunch + Recess projects, bringing an artist’s eye and a technical mind to work from production through post. He is particularly useful when a project requires equal parts creative judgment, problem-solving, and an unreasonable number of layers on a timeline.
Chris is also a content-creating machine powered by a bionic six-core GPU and roughly 17,000 GB of RAM, depending on what programs are running. His power level is over 9,000.
Off the clock, he is an artist and a father.

Every production calls for a different mix of people. We maintain a trusted network of cinematographers, producers, production designers, sound professionals, stylists, animators, and other specialists who join the core team as projects require.
Internships:
We occasionally offer internships for emerging filmmakers, editors, animators, and producers who want hands-on experience with real productions. We also welcome inquiries from experienced freelancers interested in joining our network.
